Made in Nigeria is a burgeoning network of Nigerian manufacturers, proudly applying our protected trademarks to products, packaging, websites, and social media.
By becoming a part of our organization, your business sends a clear message to buyers, specifiers, and consumers that you’re manufacturing to the highest standards right here in Nigeria.
Here are the key benefits you can enjoy when you join Made in Nigeria:
Licensed Access to the Made in Nigeria Mark
Your membership includes your license to use our protected mark under our terms. Registered at the Nigerian government’s Intellectual Property Office, it is officially recognized and can only be used by Made in Nigeria members.
Showcase Your Products in the Members’ Product Directory
The Members’ Product Directory is an excellent platform to display your products. Add descriptions and photos, along with information on how to purchase them and links to online sales channels.
Your Page in the Official Members Directory
Your business will have a dedicated company profile which you can populate with text, photos, and videos, a link to your website, and all your social media accounts.
Post Your Company Updates in Made in Nigeria Members’ News
The members’ area of the website allows you to post product and company news, which we then publish and promote on your behalf in our weekly newsletter sent to all member businesses.
Information, Guidance & Support on International Trade
We offer regular exporting webinars, workshops, and participate in international trade panels, to support you to sell more of what you make overseas. Our areas of focus include cutting through red tape, market-entry, and the identification, onboarding, and management of overseas partners.
Self-check on Sustainability for Manufacturers with the Green Growth Assessment
Created in partnership with the Lagos Business School, Made in Nigeria’s Green Growth assessment helps you identify ways to become a more sustainable business, and is your first step towards achieving Net Zero.
Apply for a Secondary License
Made in Nigeria members can apply for a Secondary License, to enable their business to use the official Made in Nigeria Mark to identify products that they make under contractual agreements with other businesses. Referred to as OEM or ‘White Label’ manufacturing, the Secondary License is there to protect the long-term integrity of the official Made in Nigeria Mark, and to enable better traceability of the goods made by our members. This is an optional license service for members that have this business requirement.
Be Seen and Heard on Social Media
Members can tag their company updates to our social platforms for our social team to interact with the posts. Our official social media pages are ready to amplify your voice.
